The degree of separation was a little exaggerated in this video and most of the other articles about the conjunction. They were not really that close together in the sky that I would call it a "double star" or "star of Bethlehem moment".

From Hillsboro OR on 6/30 it was quite impressive looking due west into the dusk to see the bright star (the two planets combined). I tried to get a pic but I only had a cellphone camera and my hands shaked a lot.
